Constructivist Learning
This lesson and all supporting resources were designed while I completed ETEC 530: Constructivist Strategies for e-Learning. Constructivist models that were studied during this course include the Constructivist Instructional Model (CIM), the Predict-Observe-Explain Model (POE) and the Conceptual Change Model (CCM). These models as well as other constructivist element were taken into consideration during the planning and designing of this lesson.


Curriculum
This lesson follows curriculum implemented by the BC Ministry of Education. This lesson is intended to be the introductory lesson of unit that focuses on Active Living. There will be 8 classes in total. The learning outcomes can be found at:

This introductory lesson on Active Health is divided into 5 parts:
1) Introduction
2) My Thoughts on Health
3) More About Health
4) Eating, Exercise and other Healthy Decisions
5) Improving My Health.
